DescriptionCarmel Methodist Chapel was built in 1894 in the Classical style by the builder H. Jones of Llanwynno. It has a gable-entry plan, two storeys and a basement. The facade is dominated by a central, first floor triple window with heavily moulded surrounds, with half height pilsaters to either side supporting a triangular pediment. The outer and ground floor windows are flat-headed with similar mouldings. In the pediment is a datestone inscribed "CARMEL CAPEL Y WESLEYAID ADEILADWYD 1898". In 1994 Carmel was converted to other use.
